K10 is known as Kessler Psychological Distress Scale, This is a 10-item questionnaire intended to yield a global measure of distress based on questions about anxiety and depressive symptoms that a person has experienced in the most recent 4 week period. The measure can be used as a brief screen to identify levels of distress.
The Kessler Psychological Distress Scale-10 is a scale of non-specific psychological distress. It was developed by Professors Ron Kessler and Dan Mroczek, as a short dimensional measure of non-specific psychological distress in the anxiety-depression spectrum, for use in the US National Health Interview Survey.

The is scored using a five-level response scale based on the frequency of symptoms reported for each question. In most ABS and other Australian surveys, 1 is the minimum score for each item (none of the time) and 5 is the maximum score.
