Mere Christianity PDF – Overview
Mere Christianity is a theological book written by C.S. Lewis in year 1952, It is adapted from a series of BBC radio talks made between 1941 and 1944, Lewis was at Oxford during the second world war, It is considered classic of Christian apologetics, the transcripts of the broadcasts originally appeared in print as three separate pamphlets.
The three separate pamphlets of Mere Christianity are The Case for Christianity (Broadcast Talks in the UK) in 1942, Christian Behavior in 1943, and Beyond Personality in 1944. Lewis was invited to give the talks by James Welch, the BBC Director of Religious Broadcasting, who had read his book The Problem of Pain which is written in 1940.
